I have a good report this week. I actually stuck to the diet and lost 1.4 lbs. I am 3 lbs. away from my goal. I am nuts though. I set my lifetime goal for even 5 more lbs. on top of this. So, my ultimate (and yes, I am finally going to stick to it) is to lose 8 more lbs. Ahhhh I’m nuts, but that will put me in the middle of my healthy weight range.
Something really started getting me going this weekend and I’m not sure why. I really believe overeating can be a bit of a disease. It is such a mental aspect, that it consumes so many people in this world. Some of my relatives are overweight and it seems like they try to be so motivated to lose weight, but then sneak food all of the time. It kills me that I can’t help them because if they don’t want to change, nothing ever will. Any words of advice on how to help them other than just setting a good example?
